Happy New Year!

hello! I am striving to make another freebie for all of you before this year ends.. it's been a while since my last post... there's a lot of things to do these past days.. the last minute shopping!! (as if I have a lot to shop! hee hee!!) last week, We have been very busy preparing our surprise video for our pastor! A month ago, I told one of our church workers that I am planning of taking a video of our church members' birthday greetings to our pastor: they have to describe him in one word or an adjective that best describes him, secondly they have to say what is the most memorable teaching they have heard on our pastor's preachings and how they have applied it on their lives and thirdly! of course their birthday greetings in one sentence!! hee hee. Me and my hubby is really glad that we were able to finish the video.. although we didn't make it on our morning service (aw.. sads) we still manage to make it on our afternoon fellowship. It's our year-ender party... there's a lot to prepare and look forward to for the coming year!! Hope He liked what we have prepared for him.

Christmas this year is different... different because my in-laws atlast! found the time to visit us! my hubby's christmas is complete since we were able to celebrate it with his family.. I prepared carbonara for them (I'm not really good at cooking... well... atleast I've tried my best right!! hehehe) although I'm not sure wether they liked it or not.. (there's a lot of leftovers.. awww)


Ok! that is me.. trying to look like a pro!! hahaha LOLz.. I really have to ask my hubby to take some photos of me while cooking! feeling like a chef! hehehe. And that's our new gas range! (whoo I think I have to take a good shot on that next time!) that comes with a range hood too, but we haven't installed it yet. our old tecnogas gas range have to bid goodbye after its 25years of service to us (whoa!!) we bought that 3 weeks ago! Another blessing, not to brag about but to thank the Lord for!!

what's keeping me busy

I am very happy! finally I have my first 2 albums finished, I think I will give myself some break from this layouting jobs.. hahaha... I need to focus on my online money making goals.. I have to make this blog alive!! just what my cyber friend's latest blog post is all about! but what can I do.. I am not really a writer, I had this blog all because of my passion in digital scrapbooking! I thought having thousands of traffic is hard.. but not hard at all! very very hard!! hehehe.. I hope I can be a good designer and later on be known in the scrapbooking world. and I think while waiting for that I need more practice huh? lol!
ok I'll be back later.. my mom and I will be doing some shopping.. heehee.....

Despite my dismay still a freebie

Ok, I just got my credit card a month ago, it was a surprise cause although I was wishing I could apply for a credit card I didn't even bother filing an application for it.. I got a mail encouraging me to get one the next day I got an authorization letter to finally accept the card and the following day I got my card! whoa! very fast huh?

I've been praying for wisdom from God, when I first knew about this scrapbooking sites selling goodies online, I wished to be a designer myself specifically on digital scrapbooks and wanted to create my own kits and eventually sell it! Just like other designers do! I 've signed up on paypal.. asked questions from my friends about online selling and other stuffs and prayed for God's wisdom. There's so many online scams I've read about and I'm getting precautions so I would'nt get scammed myself (haha who would want to get scammed right?)

I've read about online selling, studied how to sell online.. and practiced designing! and while waiting, I've created this blogs and websites preparing myself for what I wish to do. I've joined contests and challenges to exercise my skills and ability to design... I'm still not so prepared for this and finally! here it is! I got my credit card instantly.. should I say this is God's answer to my prayers?? I could'nt measure God's faithfulness! He is superb!

I've figured it out how'd they do that!! LOLz!! how to put a "buy now", "pay now", "donate" buttons on my blogs and websites!! (although for some you would say it's chicken! even a first grader can do that! but in my country where technology is kinda late, It's one great achievement.. hahaha) I'm really getting excited! I'm looking forward to more of what God would do!

Yes, I am happy but kind of a little frustated about my issues on online purchases.. I'm getting so much transaction errors.. and still figuring out what could be the problem.. and I'm a little confused why my freebies aren't getting advertised...so as of now I've prepared a little freebie for you! Mariah's FAQ states that it could be because of my blog feed, I've checked my settings and I think it was fine.. so now to test wether the problem is on my part I decided to post this freebie for you today! nice one huh?? haha..we'll here's my first wordart .. hi, I can't believe that I haven't logged in for more than a month.. I really miss this =) I seem to get very busy too often! haha.. well, well, well, well! as a reward for my readers.. ADC Regional Talentfest - a success and a failure...

hello, I know this is kind of late but as usual, I got busy with so many stuff... I got a chance to layout our Talentfest just recently, and now I have the time to share it with you guys too!!

This year's talentfest is another heartbreak for us! We started practicing months before, scheduled practices during workdays, and some of us including me and my hubby even skipped work just to give time to this year's fight.. some of the results are real frustrating.. sometimes I think that, are these people we call christians are real christians?? huh? We came here, not merely to fight for medals and certificates but one reason we do this is to glorify God.. but have we really glorified God?? Are we that thirsty to have such titles forcefully? not even taking into consideration, others' feelings?, or shall I say : the feelings of our brothers and sisters in the Lord?.. Come on! Let's grow up and I hope next year's fight would be fair!! Beat us! but beat us in a fair manner! and hope to see a christian-like attitude naman, ha?? hehehe

Still.. we are the champions! whether you liked it or not!! ok! so without further ado... here it is..

I would like to share some layouts I made.. this photos are taken last July 29, 2008. we took some pictures with our brand new comforter =) haha.. I love Korean/Taiwan novelas.. the first layout was a taiwan-novela inspired : it started with a kiss.. haha kinda corny??? anyway we enjoyed doing it and posing for the camera!! while the second one was a movie inspired: One more Chance by John Lloyd and Bea (hahaha) I think we're frustrated artists.. lol!!! enjoy viewing!

TRUSTING... is it difficult??

I just received a phone call from our attorney sending us the good news that my petition was granted!! I have to asked her several times just to confirm that I did'nt heared it wrong!! haha.. I can't believe that it was really approved.. if I would look back on the last 2 years accomplishing my documents and gathering proofs, I really can't believe my hardships was not put to waste! (not to mention the financial expenses!!! haha) and the first thing that I thought about was! Whew! God is really faithful!! He really is! thinking about this "petition thing" was very tiring, and I can say that my faith was also tested during the process, I even doubted God would grant my prayers, so everytime there was a court hearing for the presentation of proofs and testimonies, I would call or text my close friends and church mates to pray for it. They would comfort me and tell me, "God has answered your prayer! so don't worry.." It's very difficult to trust like a child! I would say to myself, yes God will answer my prayers but most of the time I can't stop thinking what if it turned out to be the other way.. but I think that is what God is teaching me, to just trust in Him!! I would like to share this illustration I read from my favorite christian book:

The Cliff
A man named jack was walking along a steef cliff one day when he accidentally got too close to the edge and fell. On the way down he grabbed a branch which temporarily stopped his fall. He looked down and to his horror saw that the canyon fell straight down for more than a thousand feet. He couldn't hang onto the branch forever, and there was no way for him to climb up the steep wall of the cliff.
So Jack began yelling for help, hoping that someone passing by would hear him and lower a rope or something. "HELP! HELP!" Is anyone up there? HELP!" He yelled for hours, but no one heard him. He was about to give up when he heard a voice.
"Jack. Jack . Can you hear me?"
Yes, yes! I can hear you. I'm down here!"
"I can see you, Jack. Are you all right?"
"Yes, but... who are you, and where are you?"
"I am the Lord, Jack. I'm everywhere."
"The Lord? You mean, GOD?"
"That's me."
"God, please help me! I promise - if You'll get me down from here, I'll stop sinning. I'll be a really good person. I'll serve you for the rest of my life."
"Easy on the promises, Jack. Let's just get you down from there; then we can talk. Now, here's what I want you to do. Listen carefully."
'I'll do anything Lord. Just tell me what to do."
"Okay. Let go of the branch."
"What?" "I said, let go of the branch. Just trust me. Let go."
There was a long silence. Finally Jack yelled, "HELP, HELP! IS ANYONE ELSE UP THERE????"

Yes, sometimes my faith is shaken because of what is happening around me, but God remains faithful all the time. Sometimes when we face trials that we know are beyond our capabilities, that is the only time we start to trust in the Lord, I may be guilty on this but God didn't failed me, He still answered my prayers, great is His Faithfulness!! I bring back all the glory to Him!

Wedding Layout for my Bestfriend

hi! I'm here to share with you some layouts I made for my friend for her wedding album.. I am a part-time layout artist on a photography shop, and this is what I really do before I got hooked up with digital scrapbooking and now.. on designing.. hehehe.. so addicted that I forgot to face all my layout works this past months.. (oh.. well, not to mention our (me and my hubby's) honeymoon layouts at Baguio City, Philippines -- which supposedly should be printed on an album by now! haha).
I'm just taking my time on organizing my files this past weeks, and finishing my layout jobs!! haha.. if my bestfriend didn't gave me a deadline on this, I think I won't do this until next month! lol!! and I'm really glad that she did liked it!!

This picture was taken months before I got married... she was a childhood friend... her mom and my mom are best buddies too =) although we haven't seen each other for years, still she will always be a friend I will never forget. she is like a sister to me... thinking about my childhood memories ... it will never be the same without her. hello, It's been a while since I blog.. I created some layouts but haven't posted it yet.. so this morning I would be sharing with you my creations for this past days.. (I was totally unhappy with my blog's template... I can't figure it out what is wrong with it.. so I haven't checked my blog for days)

He loves hanging out with me (haha!! because of him, I once became an ate) have some chat.. sometimes play computer games and also take a nap... sometimes I really miss the good old days... = )

Take a look at the upper left picture.. he was a cute little boy back then.. but now.. he was a handsome young man!!! time fleets really fast... fast and furious.. hahaha

this sucksss

this is totally getting into my nerves. I'm tired of this.. it's like I've been editing and layouting my page for almost 3 days now and what???.... everything was in place and before I knew it the next time i log on it was totally un-aligned and ruined... now I give up.. I don't know what seems to be the problem, my script was running perfectly before I leave last night and now when i log on.. the same problem again..... =(

what's the matter... arggh

aw!! what is the problem with my template??? in the beginning everything was fine and aligned how come as I progress through my revisions on the layout it turned out to be a disaster in the end... just like this tags on the side. they won't load although i have resized it to smaller size and sometimes just moves over to the left so it leaves the texts out of place..... please help me.. how to I edit this layout.... I'm getting tired of loading and editing.. and adjusting.. please please please

New Templates

I'm getting tired editing my blogger template.. my previous layout was ruined and I don't know what happened.. so i have to find another one and re-edit everything.. although I'm not that satisfied with this layout.. but so far.. it's better than none, right.. It's 2:43 in the morning.. I have to go to bed now.. I have lots to do tomorrow.. errands like tarpaulin printing which is supposedly should have been printed this day.. but they keep telling that their's a typhoon so I have to stay at home if I don't want to be stranded out.. hahaha.. but apparently it didnt rained.. (sobs..) well, that's it for now.. no layout to share today.. bye!!!

I wonder where all those artists get their templates... it's so hard to edit HTML.. anyway.. as of now my new layout is fine.. I'll be fixing it again some other time!! have to go to bed now .. oh oww it's sunday!!

hello everyone!! I don't know what am I doing in front of my computer typing this blog!! haha , it's 12:30 am, and it's a sunday!!! I should be sleeping early now for our sunday worship.. and I'll be having my special number.. I hope I can perform well this time.. I'm getting frustrated with the result of my performances.. I keep on practicing but always fail to apply what i've practiced.. (let's just wait and see what's the result this time.. hee heee!!)

atlast I finish my work this week, I'm done with my last wedding layout. This week's really tiring, time really flies so fast, we had our computer maintenance for our Computer shop coz it was giving us a headache everyday... 4 more computers to go and we're done!! We'll be finishing that next week... oh I mean tomorrow (tomorrow's monday =O)

ok, I would like to share with you my layouts for this day.. (for almost 3 weeks now, I haven't made any layouts, since I was super busy...=) )

this pic was taken last year, before our mommy ninang and daddy ninong leaves for arizona to be with ninang liezl and ninong Jerry's whole family for christmas (by the way ninang liezl is their daughter, also our sponsors on our wedding, hehe), I can see how excited they were after arriving at the airport, hours before their flight!! wow they had a white christmas last year!! (I'm envious ...)

while this one was taken February of 2007, they are my elementary friends!! We havent seen each other for more than 14 years now, and we decided to go out, catch up and have a reunion!! although it was only the 4 of us (others didnt make it) it was really fun like our stories and never ending!!! It was so amazing that although we havent met for so many years, there's no awkward moment, it was like we're back on our elementary days!!! I love you guys.. and now I miss you na!!! hehehe

Saturday Night

aww time fleets so fast and it's saturday... I have to go to bed early for tomorrow's sunday worship =) still conditioning myself for my wedding layout due next week (oh no!!!) I have to take a break downloading this kits and time for work first..

I've been editing my friendster account profile and my blogger layout =) also my desktop themes!! hehehe so here's my wallpaper designs for my website and for my beloved room PC (since I haven't left my PC for days trying to cure this file threatening viruses (sobs...) that's it for now... while I'm waiting for my customers to finish their time I'm signing off for now... bye byezzz

Island Cove Celebration

So Last June 8, we held our church fellowship at the VIP hall, Fishing Village at Island cove... this is our Ninang Jane's and our inaanak, tintin's birthday blowout as well. Although some games were quite boring (shhhhh.... hehehe) but still we enjoyed our fellowship and the food was great too... This is really a blessing.. the VIP hall we used really costs much, but why did we manage to reserved that place???
